"The Grandpa Doug Mystery"

Doug Pearce "grandpa Doug" age 86 from Mariposa California, was last seen on April 21st 2005.  He was scheduled to volunteer at Woodland elementary school and Mariposa Middle School but never arrived at either place.

A few day's after his disappearance, his white truck was found abandoned in the mud and on fire.  But no sign of grandpa Doug.  Authorities stated it appeared the vehicle had caught fire accidentally, and they theorized that Pearce became lost when he tried to walk out of the mountains after abandoning his car. There is no evidence to support any theory, however, and no possibilities are being ruled out.

Today almost 16 year's later, the grandpa Doug disappear case remains unsolved.
